Kouchibouguac National Park is one of two wilderness national parks in New Brunswick. The Park supports about 12 pairs of Piping Plovers. Parks Canada staff coordinate Piping Plover conservation and recovery on several beaches within the Park, which includes monitoring, habitat protection, visitor education and engagement, and research.
