Our New Brunswick team monitors and protects Piping Plovers on beaches and engages volunteers from communities on the Acadian Peninsula south to Cape Jourimain National Wildlife Area. About 53 Piping Plover pairs currently breed in New Brunswick. Our long-term goal is to bring the population back to 105 pairs. Volunteers and partners are an important part of our team.
