Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site is home to the second largest biosphere reserve in Canada. The Park’s Kejimkujik Seaside, located in the Port Joli area of Nova Scotia’s South Shore, is breeding home to about four pairs of Piping Plover. Parks Canada staff coordinates monitoring, protection, habitat restoration, education and research. Volunteers and partners are an important part of our team at the Kejimkujik National Seashore.
